I love the environment at the school. Te teacher's are wonderful. My classmates are great musicians that inspire me and from whom I learn a lot.
The school has great spaces to develop your studies. Although it is very expensive, the school offers scholarships mostly to international students.
Their service is great, professional and friendly.
There are working opportunities you can use to broaden your skills and knowledge in the industry as well as earning some income during your studies.
The classes are great, it is a small school and so the classes are very focused on each individual. There are also personalized classes according to your field of study as well as electives in multiple subjects that can enrich your musicality and interests.
The school is located in Harlem, close to a beautiful park. It offers on campus dorms that I believe are very expensive considering the costs of rent nearby.
I highly encourage and recommend anyone interested to apply and for it!

Being a jazz musician on the autistic spectrum in New York City has presented unique challenges, including financial insecurity and navigating social situations. Despite these obstacles, my love for jazz has been a constant source of inspiration and motivation. Playing music allows me to express myself in ways I struggle to do verbally, and the improvisational nature of jazz provides a space for creative freedom and exploration. Through jazz, I have found a sense of purpose and belonging in a world that can often feel overwhelming.
My experiences have taught me valuable lessons about communication and collaboration. Despite the competitive nature of the music industry, I have developed strong connections with fellow musicians. I remain dedicated to pursuing my passion for jazz and believe that through hard work and dedication, I can overcome the obstacles in my path and achieve my goals as a musician.

As a student at Manhattan School of Music, my daily routine consists of rehearsing with small and large ensembles, and dedicating 4-5 hours to practice on both piano and saxophone. In addition, I am actively engaged in the school community through my roles as a student administrator and in the production crew, allowing me to develop leadership and organizational skills.
I am committed to attending school five times a week, reflecting my dedication to academic excellence and a strong work ethic. These experiences have not only fostered my love for music but have also shaped me into a responsible, well-rounded individual. I am grateful for the opportunities I have had at Manhattan School of Music, which have prepared me to excel in my future academic and professional pursuits.
