Loyola Marymount University Reviews

I'm a current graduate student-athlete at LMU. The campus is gorgeous and the student population is small, so the student to teacher ratio is much better than a public school in the state. Classes are engaging and teachers make themselves readily available to help you succeed in their class. Housing can be a bit difficult because the availability of affordable living is quite rare. There are so many things to do not only on campus, but around the whole city of LA, so students will never be bored. Don't forget to go watch the sunset on the bluff. (If you don't know what that is, ask any local LMU student)

The classes are stimulating and encourage you to stretch outside of your comfort zone. As someone who has lots of experience as a filmmaker, I learn something new and have big takeaways during every class.
Loyola Marymount has an extremely knowledgeable staff for the school of film and television. I feel I am working with tried and true professionals whenever I am in class. My classmates are also very experienced and fun to work with. We grow together as a family. The location is great near Los Angeles and many of the world's top movie studios are just a 15-45 minute drive away.
