The academics at Stern are incredibly rigorous because they firmly believe in providing an educational experience that will not only set you up for real world success, but also set you apart from your peers. The grading scale can be difficult to reckon with, but it just encourages you to work harder and engage with the material in a deeper manner. The coursework is engaging, and once you progress pass the core the options are limitless!
The part time online/modular program is the perfect fit for my needs because it would allow me to study at my dream school without moving and also continue working to support my family while remaining in Chicago. There are incredible options for short term travel to NYC and study abroad p programs which can condense time spent away from home, yet foster that engagement with other students and communities.
Stern is incredibly challenging but so incredibly rewarding. The opportunities available to students here are numerous, whether it be extracurricular or academic. The professors deeply care about what they are teaching, but not in a way that prioritizes their work—the pedagogy matters just as much, if not more. I feel incredibly lucky to be a part of a program that also emphasizes the importance of emotional intelligence and business ethics in the business practice.
