I found my fellow Kellogg mates to be driven, engaged professionally and socially, enthusiastic and curious learners and upon graduating, strongly felt we made a great choice. Evanston is what most of us really wanted, a great school, crazy good campus and (now) new facilities within a hop to a world class city and from a B school standpoint, big time career opportunities. In fact, my first post grad gig had me remaining in the Chi with a very well known boutique investment bank ... fixed income. From CT, figured Manhattan was my sure destination. Chi led to San Fran thanks to my Chicago firm that hired me. I've achieved a lot in 7 years and work globally in finance. I'm convinced Kellogg is a big reason why. This from a kid that only thought of an MBA from Harvard, Yale or Wharton.

Kellogg's highly-qualified professors ensure a positive and challenging academic experience. I've loved the opportunity to both push back on my teachers' and fellow students' perspectives as well as have my own perspectives challenged. The only part I am dissatisfied with is the required core coursework, which felt redundant and unnecessary to me, especially given the program is only two years.
The decision to come back to business school is a financially intensive one. I would strongly recommend pursuing an undergraduate degree in a STEM field and layering on an MBA, rather than going the route I went and stacking two business degrees. The experience is still valuable for the connections I have made, but the cost for what I feel I am learning in the classroom seems to be a bit high to me...
