Jacksonville University Reviews
Rating 4.5 out of 5 46 reviews
I am beginning this fall in the mental health counseling program. I am exited to begin this journey. The university I have been accepted to is open and welcoming. They are very interested in helping incoming students prepare for their academic journey.
The Master of Science in Organizational Leadership program is a program of high quality. Majority of the courses that I completed were the same as the MBA courses, minus a few. It was obvious that the professors were very knowledgeable in their fields of study. They also made themselves readily available to students for counsel or additional study assistance. Each of the courses required participation and engagement; which highlighted that the professors encouraged students thoughts and perspectives regarding the topics discussed. Overall, this program gets a 9 out of 10 from me.
JU's campus is beautiful and is just on the water ! There's a Starbucks and Chick-fil-a which is a nice touch and everyone is so friendly ! Resources are centrally located, so they're easy to find and JU puts on lots of events each week and month ! There's a newsletter that's sent out during the normal academic year on weekly basis that lists events for the week. JU is also located in a good area in Jacksonville -- it's super close to Atlantic and Beach Blvd where all the good Asian eats are and it's 30 minutes from the beach (and Trader Joe's) !
