All of the courses so far have been great. Most professors are extremely knowledgable about the subject and very willing to meet outside of class time.
I have thoroughly enjoyed my experience in the program so far. I also think they handled COVID pretty well which made me feel comfortable.
Thoroughly enjoyed my undergrad at IUP the teachers were very knowledgeable and willing to help you.
Indiana University of pennsylvania is a great school, the campus is beautiful and the community is open and welcoming.
I've learnt a lot in my first semester as a Clinical Psychology graduate student. Faculty have put a great deal of effort into developing courses that are educational but also fun. Learning difficult content is always easier when the experience is fun.
My academic experience has been excellent this far. I have learned more in statistics and in biology than before.
I have enjoyed my experiences so far at IUP. It is difficult to gage how well the my entire time will be there due to the pandemic.
yes, very useful and practical. The skills I have learned I will use for the rest of my life and plan to do a lot with them.
IUP is a fantastic school and has many resources available to all of the students on campus and off campus.
The advisors and professors are very responsive and helpful to all students. They really care about each student's success!
Overall, the experience has been positive thus far. Classes are interesting and challenging. The faculty are helpful and engaging. I live off campus and cannot elaborate on the student housing, social life, or student services.
The coursework is in line with what one might expect at the doctoral level. It is a lot of work, but the work is useful for cultivating critical, knowledgeable perspectives.
I was truly disappointed by nearly all aspects of IUP. Some of the professors I had were wonderful, but the academics are seriously lacking.
The Employment and Labor Relations department has taught me about the private and public sectors, how to write grievances, how to manage employees, and how to hire the right employees. The work that we had to do has built my confidence tremendously that I will be able to take on any aspect in the field and excel. They break down the curriculum in a way that one can understand by relating it to today's atmosphere. I would recommend IUP program to anyone who would want to pursue a career in HR.
I loved my time at IUP, I have learned a lot and have gained some great friends during my time here. I have been transitioning into the HR field and my professors have provided me with tones of information that has pushed me to one day one to become an HR Director. When I graduate I want to continue on learning and improving in my field and IUP has made me confident that I will be able to reach out to my professors and my career development department when needed.
Coursework is tedious and difficult! It definitely takes time management to succeed in this program.
I love this college! They've prepared me for challenges that I am currently facing in the workplace. They have also helped me fall in love with my major so much that I am continuing my education and completing graduate school.
