Positives: Cheap, and it was possible to go to school and work at the same time.
Negatives: Program was not designed well and the content does not cover the scope of what is necessary going into my field. Gaps in curriculum, inconsistent expectations, poor communication. Professors teaching my classes had experience in an adjacent mental health field, but not in my field. Their examples and lessons were not applicable to my field. Program needs a reevaluation and redesign. Poor communication about program expectations and requirements up front. Buildings have strange operating hours so when I needed food or library access, I was often out of luck.

The environment at Indiana State University is perfect. Terre Haute is a great town for college students. There is a diversity of food, people, and environment. There really is not a place on campus that I feel unwelcomed and concerned about. Everything about the campus is welcoming and friendly.
My professors are amazing, they are so helpful, flexible, caring and invested in your success. They have passion for their subjects and can explain things in various ways that make everyone capable of grasping a subject. Most importantly they encourage interaction and collaborative discussion in the classroom that is essential to the learning process.
