Georgia Southern University Graduate Reviews

I like that the program I am in (School Psychology) because of the cohort size. The cohort is small, which allows for a good relationship between the professors and the students. I have had many great interactions with many of my professors and really feel that they want their students to succeed. The school is a beautiful place and the student life is great. I do wish that the school had better communication with students, sending out reminders for registration, etc. I have to call the school whenever I want information.

Georgia Southern University is a great school! The professors have the heart to get to know the students. There are great opportunities to network through student organizations. This school holds many job fairs throughout the year so students will be able to connect with companies for potential jobs and internships. Also, there are great opportunities to work with professors on undergraduate and graduate research. This is an awesome school and I recommend the university to all students. The one thing that I would like to see change is for the programs to have more electives in learning upcoming design programs that companies use today.
Georgia Southern truly is a small-feel university with large-scale opportunities. This allows you to develop close relationships with peers, mentors, and contacts that are important during school and in the future. It also allows you to engage in your program as much as you want to — you can choose how active you want to be in research, conferences, etc. and have the tools to support your endeavors without feeling overwhelmed by the process because of those close relationships.
