Georgia Institute of Technology Graduate Reviews

11 reviews
It's one of the best engineering schools in the world, and in some ways lives up to its name. The major concern was, when I came in here there were 4 incidents of mugging and hold ups within 3 weeks. Safety of students is thus an issue. Secondly, the job market around Atlanta is good but not great. One has to move away from this city to get a better paying and a job in the field of his choice. The chances of students getting assistantship are very less. The fees is not cheap and the insurance plan given by the school is very expensive. The overall academic environment is focussed on research and not making getting students employment. The bus service of the University is terrible, as you would rarely find a transport at a particular time. There is absolutely no punctuality in how the service is operated.

Everyone at this school is an asset, treat them with respect and who knows what you might find.
Great passionate professors. Good brand image, most highly respect school academics, especially for engineering.
