George Fox University Reviews

In the MSW program and there are two different options; The two year program and the advanced program. The two year program students are called "concentration year students" and they have a full year to establish rapport between them and so when the advanced placement students join them they're not very welcoming. This makes for awkward classes and the sense of division among the cohort. The faculty are aware of this problem and admit they don't know how to address it. This made the experience feel more isolated and stressful because you don't have adequate social support. Most of the professors also seemed distant like they didn't want to truly get to know you, you feel like part of a revolving door.

Many of the classes you're required to take and pay for don't seem applicable to the degree. Many of the topics I had learned in undergrad and the subjects felt repetitive. Lots of busy work and filler presentations to keep you busy. It's not that the work was necessarily hard, it's just that there's so much assigned between 6 classes and interning 20 hours a week it's hard to find time to do it all.
I Graduated from undergrad last April.

I begin my online Masters Program classes here in less than two weeks!
