Duke University School of Nursing Reviews
Rating 5 out of 5 5 reviews
Although I have not started at Duke University to pursue my women's health nurse practitioner (WHNP) degree, I know that in the short time I have experienced Duke that I have made the right decision in attending. From the moment I started researching WHNP programs I felt a kinship to Duke. I felt they had not only their students best interest at heart but the patients that would be receiving care from their graduates. Patient advocacy, especially related to women, is something I am very passionate about. Duke University emphasizes equality and fair care for all, and that is why I felt there was no other right fit for my graduate degree education than Duke.
I am in the Acute Care Adult Gerontology Nurse Practitioner program. It is a distance based program that allows me to continue my full time critical care intensive care unit nursing job in Charlotte while attending online classes and clinicals near my home.
Great communication and experience with instructors. Very responsive. Schedule is easy to work with.
