The School of Education specializes in providing teaching candidates with classroom and field training to work in diverse urban communities. Did you know QC is a top producer of NYC public school teachers, principals and counselors in the metropolitan area?

Elementary & Early Childhood Education (EECE) offers graduate and advanced certificate programs leading to NYS certification in: Early Childhood Education (Birth-Grade 2), Childhood Education (Grades 1-6), Literacy Education and Bilingual Education.

Secondary Education & Youth Services (SEYS) offers distinct programs leading to certification to teach a range of subjects: master's degrees, certificate programs and post-master's extension credits, including the Graduate Initial Certification Program, MSED in Education and MAT in Education.

Educational & Community Programs (ECP) provides a rigorous graduate education in special education, school counseling, mental health counseling, school psychology and school leadership.
