I have always enjoyed going to school and getting to learn new and exciting things. The professors have continued to inspire me every time I return to class. I struggled with finding inspiration for English or literacy classes and always had huge anxiety about essays. With the help of my most recent professor, I believe I increased my confidence and ability to produce extremely well written and researched essays. Going to CMU has inspired me to explore more hobbies, and that has extended to meeting new and interesting people. I am very introverted and the community at CMU has opened me to a whole new world of diverse people.
The academic program is excellent because of the resources this college provides. I enjoy having an advisor that is accessible at all times, and the college is keeping up with the digital world as well. I like having the option to attend meetings and classes online rather than in person. I have had great professors along the way, I've had about two encounters with professors who weren't helpful, but everyone else has been awesome!!!
CMU just started its first-ever Masters of Science in Occupational Therapy program and I was lucky enough to get in. Being a first-year program it definitely has a few bumps, but overall the program is set up well and the faculty is outstanding. The CMU MSOT program has a lot of potential to become a leader in those educating future occupational therapists.
