College of Letters & Science, University of Wisconsin-Madison Graduate Reviews

2 reviews
My experience at UW-Madison has had it's ups and downs. Some of the courses I've taken have been extremely useful, practical, and rigorous with great professors. Others have lacked rigor or felt like they were not useful for my career. The administration does not always deal with staff problems (i.e. sexual harassment, hostile and intimidating behavior), but there is an active push on campus to improve on existing policies. My experience doing research at the university with professors has been excellent.

I love the practical nature of my program(GISWMP) and I think I have become a better team player and more knowledgeable. I wish we had more diversity in faculty. There aren't enough professors!
