College of Fine Arts - University of Texas - Austin Reviews

My experience wasn't typical since I started during the worst of COVID-19. Honestly it was pretty mixed. Some of the professors care a lot and will really go out of their way to help you. My class was the first to start during COVID and we missed out on a lot. I Don't even know what half of the professors in my department look like. Additionally, a lot of vital information wasn't provided to us on time and several students had to delay their graduation. The other PhD and graduate students are awesome though! I've met some of the best friends of my life here.
All of the professors are incredibly knowledgeable, truly experts in their respective fields. Personally, I wouldn't say the academics are difficult but you need to have good study habits and know when to cut corners. They don't want to give you anything less than an A-.
