I loved the diverse atmosphere at Governors State University. The university itself tries to engage with its students & offers a lot of help. The business classes for my graduate degree have been repetitive of undergraduate classes. Most classes are only offered online and offer little teaching. I taught myself most of graduate classes. However, many of my professors have been helpful with questions when asked. The overall facility is very outdated. The layout of the classes can building can be confusing.
I am pursuing the dual masters’ degree in Public Administration (PADM) and Political and Justice Studies (POJS). These interdisciplinary degrees will enhance my chances for greater opportunities in the private and public sectors as a public administrator, public servant, academic professor, and academic advisor in the areas of political justice and public policies’ arenas.
My goal is to use my PADM/ POJS degree in the field of social advocacy projected towards community settings to conform administrative policies that maintain ethical behaviors from all levels in an agency – for greater awareness of the disenfranchised.

My business program focus was accounting. I did both my undergraduate and graduate degree here at Governors State University. The graduate coursework was engaging, but often repetitive from undergraduate.
