AU’s College of Arts & Sciences (CAS) offers more than 50 Master’s Degrees, PhDs, and Certificate Programs in the arts, humanities, sciences, and social sciences. Each program takes a holistic approach to education and provides students with the theoretical and hands-on practical training necessary to thrive.

The CAS graduate experience extends beyond the classroom. Students can work in our state-of-the-art labs in our new Hall of Science, intern at notable institutions in DC, and engage with on-campus centers including the Antiracist Research and Policy Center, Center for Behavioral Neuroscience, the Humanities Truck project, and the AU Museum. Our faculty are active practitioners in their fields, working towards solutions for today's most pressing issues. You will hone your expertise in real time, contribute to faculty publications, and be exposed to faculty networks; all to help you become a leader and changemaker in your industry.
