I took an Online Graduate course and it was excellent! Expertly crafted and designed for working adults, curriculum and messaging very streamlined! I also loved the flexible tuition payment plan that made it possible for me to complete my degree without interruption. Great value for a degree from such a well-known university!
The professors are amazing and the student to faculty ratio makes it easy to ask questions during class or office hours. There is an abundance of research opportunities encompassing a wide range of topics within for each specified major. The courses in the curriculum are challenging, but the professors do a great job of teaching course content. As long as you put in the work you should succeed. Clemson also has an amazing career center that hosts mock interviews, connects you with potential job opportunities, and hosts large career fairs inclusive of companies from a wide range of industries/sectors.
If you're regional you know Clemson as a school with an inflated reputation. I graduated from Clemson and I believe the University of South Carolina is a much superior school as an academic institution. The number one thing is that Clemson is in the middle of nowhere as it is two hours from Atlanta and two hours plus to Charlotte and two hours to Colombia. Therefore, the mentality of the people, particularly the faculty is quite limited and short-sighted. I saw that across the spectrum between programs as people tend to get short-sighted and think their opinion has a higher value than it does. The professors tend to stay around longer than they should at Clemson. There is no medical school, no law school, or dental school. There is an MBA program of little notoriety. They do have a great program to get into the NFL which everyone appreciates. The staff treat the undergrads like children so you dont get a sense of being independent which is what a school should provide. Dont go here.
