The academic program has been good so far. The office staff (like Bursar’s) is very helpful with any general question. All of the on call representatives are friendly and know what they’re doing. My previous advisor was awesome! She followed up with me consistently without me having to reach out first. She would automatically send emails for us to touch base with reminders on deadlines for picking classes or withdrawing. The online courses are very convenient for a working mom like myself. If the online courses could be more engaging, they would be helpful. Most of the professors assign readings with assignments and you’re kind of left to figure it out in your own. It would be nice to have a recorded lecture or more direction in completing the online assignments. Other than that, the classes have been good. The professors know what they’re stuff and are fair graders!
The Academics at Central Connecticut State University are great; one wouldn't change a thing! The programs are engaging.
I have had so much help from professors here. They go above and beyond to help you with reviewing papers, adequate explanations of assignments, and assistance outside of the classroom and semester.
