Catholic University of America Graduate Reviews

The University seems to struggle with staying on top of administrative tasks. This is particularly true of the financial aid office. In order to make sure things happen as they are “supposed to” you have to be willing to stay engaged and aware of what’s going on and speak up and ask questions/follow up when necessary.
Academically, I have no complaints about the education I received. Some faculty are stronger than others but that’s true of every university. My classmates were good people with interesting things to contribute to class discussions.
The campus is beautiful. If you are Catholic, being so near to the Basilica of the National Shrine is a really amazing thing. Washington DC in general has a lot to offer as far as places to live go.

I am currently in my last year at Catholic University of America, and I am very happy I chose this school to pursue my MSW at. The curriculum is easy to understand. The online learning option is perfect for me as I do not live near the campus. I really enjoy being able to carry on with the rest of my life while still being able to participate in class work, and an education through this wonderful school! I would recommend Catholic University of America to anyone and everyone interested in pursuing graduate studies for social work. Great Place to attend!
Professors are all encouraging and welcoming, and willing to assist students with whatever they need. Courses often include hand-on activities or demonstrations, group projects, and work with colleagues, providing networking opportunities. Symposiums and other conferences provide the same, and well as the chance to grow professionally.
