From Capital University

As central Ohio’s oldest university, Capital has a strong history of academic excellence and a commitment to the individual success of every student. Since our founding by the Lutheran Church in 1830, and charter as a university in 1850, we have graduated students who go on to lead and make an impact in their careers, community, and the world.

Located in the state capital of Columbus, Capital offers undergraduate, graduate, and law degrees on our campuses in Columbus and Bexley, Ohio. Our proximity to Columbus and the strength of our connections and partnerships in the business, government, healthcare, and legal community attract students who are driven to do more, and faculty who are committed to helping students be more.

With smaller cohorts and a focus on flexible programming, Capital can offer more 1:1 interaction with faculty, greater collaboration with fellow students, and the flexibility you need to maintain a strong work - life balance.
