California State University - Sacramento Reviews

It was very nice and clean campus! Loved it! Staff was very supportive and educated. They offered so many options for resource in mental health, daily necessities and even money.
I recently transferred to Sacramento State and due to covid everything has been remote and since I live less then 5 minutes away I love going to the campus and walking around and familiarizing myself with it. Its clean and well maintained even with no one being on campus because of COVID. They have made accessing things like the fitness center easy for students. I really appreciate the staff because when you need information they reply to you as soon as possible and they give you a lot of helpful information that can be useful. Applying and attending Sacramento State for my bachelor's degree has been rewarding and has made me appreciate all the lessons I learned from high school and college. I would like to study out of state for my master's degree but Sac State is still my second choice. I feel accomplished and happy to have made it this far with the help of the staff and my determination to keep going. Once I graduate Sac State, I will work even harder with my future career plans.
The coursework was relevant to real-life application. It was useful with how and why to silly certain theories and applications. The coursework is hard and demanding but with time management, skills it is not hard to accomplish. The work is meant to further your learning and understanding. There are several options if the workload may be too difficult. They have several group sessions you can attend or start-up one yourself consisting of people in your class. There is also the option of tutoring that is available for you. The professors are really good at returning emails, having open office time, and being responsive to their student's needs. I truly believe the professors want to see you succeed. They were always willing to see me after class and further explain concepts. It The students are also very welcoming and open. They are a source of help when it comes to completing the coursework and giving advice on the asses and the professors you may take for a specific class.
