Boston University School of Public Health Reviews

I definitely recommend the Biostats/Epi concentration in the MPH program. The quality of of education Is great. The professors and coursework push you to grow, learn, and apply your knowledge. The degree holds a lot of value and the school has a great reputation nationwide. Fellow alumni I connected with were eager to help. The career office is easily accessible and very helpful.

The practicum process could be improved. Along with the rules related to financial aid and tuition. If you take a 2 credit course and end up at 12 or 14 credits you are still charged for 16 credits. I took a few elective courses in Environmental Health and do not recommend them. They were disorganized and the professors simply read from the slides. Scholarships are not offered the final semester for students completing the MPH degree in 2 years. Security could be improved in the medical campus, especially at night.

So far the experience has been remarkable. I am challenged in classes but I can see how each course will impact my future career. BUSPH really cares about investing in the next generation of public health leaders.
The academics are challenging but each curse is directly applicable to the job field. I don't feel overwhelmed by work but I feel challenged and engaged to push myself to learn and do more.
