Barry University Reviews

The quality of the courses is exceptional as courses meet the criteria for CACREP standards. There is a good mix of genders in relation to the professors and diversity is evident. Additionally, the professors' level of experience as well as involvement in the wider community is admirable. This makes the academic experience more meaningful as the professors use their wealth of knowledge to make the classes interesting. Not to mention the variety of resources and networking links that they provide to us as students! The class sizes are small and intimate and this encourages group interaction and participation. There is also a good mix of races, ethnic and cultural backgrounds that is evident in the student population. The courses and module content are manageable and students have the opportunity to learn at their own pace. The use of technology and electronic resources is well integrated in the curriculum. Overall, my academic experience at this institution is extremely satisfactory.
My academic experience at Barry University, pursuing a Master's in Social Work, has been enriching and challenging. The program offers a comprehensive curriculum that equips students with the knowledge and skills necessary to make a meaningful impact in social work.
The best part of my experience has been the dedicated and experienced faculty who provide valuable insights and mentorship. Additionally, the hands-on experiences, including internships and fieldwork, have allowed me to apply classroom knowledge to real-world situations.
However, the program's intensity and workload can be demanding, especially when balancing academic responsibilities with personal commitments. Nonetheless, the growth and learning opportunities make it a rewarding journey toward becoming a qualified social worker.

I am a transfer student form Florida Atlantic University (FAU) School of Business. The program at FAU was phenomenal and was an easy decision as an Alumni of their Bachelors Nursing Program. Unfortunately, due to my divorce I could no longer afford to attend their program. After a long online search, I discovered Barry University's MBA program which was half the price. To my amazement the program has been great. The curriculum and course work is streamlined and feasible for working adults. Along with being a graduate student I am a wife, mother, and Nurse. Juggling time between all important areas of my life can be difficult. However, I do not shy away for difficult tasks and am committed to obtaining my Masters in Business Administration. The financial assistance of a scholarship would certainly help in alleviating stress and hardship as I continue to make sacrifices to attain this goal. As a first generation college student. I continue to set the example for my family.
