APU’s child life program is amazing! Child life can be a very confusing field at the beginning, and I appreciate the available guidance. Professors are very caring and have open doors for anything you need, and each class/the whole program helps me feel aptly prepared for being a child life specialist.
I am a graduate student who has just embarked on my master's program journey. The program offered at Azusa Pacific University has affected my life on a positive note. One word to characterize how I feel after completing my first term at Azusa is empowered. A unique quality of this program is the cohesiveness of the cohort. We all support and use each other to benefit our learning experiences. The professors offer so much help and assistance it creates a positive climate for learning. One thing that the university can improve on is offering more writing assistance. Overall, this program is amazing.
The academics at APU were exceptional, there was much discourse about what we were engaging in the topic at hand. I felt challenged to communicate my option and work on assignments that brought awareness to the cultural, spiritual, and professional applications.
