My experience at Auburn University at Montgomery has been a great one so far. With students coming from different cultural backgrounds I am exposed to a well-diversified environment where I am constantly learning. College employees are very much welcoming and willing to assist with every need a student may have. As an international student, I needed help the first few weeks navigating my way around the various offices to complete my paperwork. And whenever I looked like I needed help, even without asking, both students and college employees will willingly escort me to where I needed to go. Generally, I would say Auburn University at Montgomery has a very welcoming environment with structures and measures put in place to make your academic journey easy. Housing, learning, and workout facilities are not too far from each other, making commuting easy. Professors teach in a practical manner. Class size is small and hence there is a personalized feel to tutoring. I have no dislikes.
The academics at AUM are personalized and tailored to you. The professor-to-student ratio was 1:25, which made it easier for students to receive help from professors during class time.
The student professor ratio is nice and allows students to feel heard, seen, and truly helped by professors. My professors have made me feel that reaching out to them with assistance is no problem and that I am supported.
