Antioch University Seattle Graduate Reviews

5 reviews
Antioch University Seattle sets high standards for adult, academic learning. It champions diversity and experiential learning, and social justice. Antioch University Seattle presents a mission of providing their students self spaces to learn and be challenged in all scopes of life from academic rigor, introspection, ethics, and social justice. They provide an exception grading system and programming that encourages personal growth and focuses on student successes, rather than impersonal letter grades and punitive systems. I expect much return of investment as I graduate and enter my career as a Clinical Mental Health Counselor.

As a student at Antioch University - Seattle, I adored the connection and collaboration with both staff and peers in the program. The amount of work the department does for the couples and family therapy program is astounding, and it was phenomenal to be able to go out in the community and have the skills and education required to be an asset as a therapist. Honestly I just wish I did not have to commute as far as I did, but it was well worth the sacrifice of sitting in Seattle traffic.
Antioch prides itself in diversity. Multiculturalism is taught throughout the graduate program which in turn helps students feel capable to work with a wide variety of clients post degree. Antioch would benefit from incorporating out of state internship opportunities as many of us had no intention of staying in Washington state.
