American Public University System Reviews

I LOVE THIS SCHOOL! I never thought I would thrive in an online environment but this school has proven me otherwise. Majority of the professors are very helpful and subject experts in the class they teach. All assignments are due on Wednesday's and Sunday's throughout the entire curriculum. The tuition is affordable and no textbooks are required. All materials needed for class are provided online. The level of difficult for assignments is appropriate in my opinion. I'm in a Master's program and there are papers due every week as well as discussion boards, which is to be expected. APUS offers much flexibility for their students and I would definitely recommended this institution for degree seeking individuals.

Good support teams, professors try to be as fair and understanding as possible. Variety of degree plans to choose from. Flexibility of taking classes on online compare to brick and mortar school, AWESOME! Tuition includes books, library, lab fees and more. There were some excellent instructors and some poor ones; most were average. Some instructors were too plain in replies replies on forums, some didn't put too much effort into personalizing the course at all, while others got into in depth conversations with the students. In my opinion, you can learn here if you want to, if you put an effort into it. It’s a great opportunity for those who are unable to sit in a regular classroom.
I am taking courses through American Public University online. Due to this I do not have knowledge on the physical school but the ecampus has been enlightening. They make it easy to reach out to not only professors, but also consolers. My only complaint would be the setup of their class rooms online. I struggled to navigate the classroom the first few weeks of my first course. The professor was understanding however until I figured out the setup. I regularly recommend this university to other around me. I have nothing but high praise for the staff at the university. I look forward to taking more classes here and am already signed up for my next class!
