Very good college overall. Staff is very friendly and helpful. Classes are small and more personal, and it is easy to get help when you need it. The only thing I didn't like was the application process/financial aid/registration. I am returning to school after being out of high school since 1998, and the process was a little confusing and there were a lot of steps to take in too many places. Fortunately my advisor was awesome and was able to guide me through the process a little easier.
Zane State College is a sweet little community college with big appeal. The beautiful campus is loaded with trees and greenery. There’s a really nice walking trail surrounding it. The Rec center is state of the art. There is plenty of parking and the terrain is flat. The classes are small and all of the professors are great! The advisors and office personnel are terrific. The best class of all is the Art History courses with Dawn Tonneman. I have really enjoyed the whole experience. Zane State is community oriented and they make you feel very welcome. I highly recommend them.
I absolutely love Zane State. It’s a small school with small classes that allow you to connect with your instructors. They host many events for the community. It also is very affordable, some classes have free book access.
