YTI gave me the basic skills and understanding I needed to purse a career in the field I chose . The teachers were highly involved and were willing to work one on one with the students. Each program is designed to equip you with a knowledge and passion for your field. I feel that I really thrives because of the hands on experience in the lab classes as well.
I couldn't be any happier with the whole process from applying to starting classes. The instructors are wonderful and eager to share their knowledge.
The program is intense, as it is very fast-paced and accelerated. Most of the instructors are great and very eager to help students succeed. However, as I've stated numerous times, the lack of materials is frustrating. I am enrolled in the dental program and we don't have the latex gloves needed to perform every day tasks, our practice dummies are falling apart, and we often times have to take turns using materials because there aren't enough to go around. Since there is such a shortage on materials, it takes longer to test on certain skills which means every other week is crunch time and numerous tests in a single day. It's exhausting, and very, very frustrating. Where does my tuition go?
