Review YTI Career Institute - York
The program is intense, as it is very fast-paced and accelerated. Most of the instructors are great and very eager to help students succeed. However, as I've stated numerous times, the lack of materials is frustrating. I am enrolled in the dental program and we don't have the latex gloves needed to perform every day tasks, our practice dummies are falling apart, and we often times have to take turns using materials because there aren't enough to go around. Since there is such a shortage on materials, it takes longer to test on certain skills which means every other week is crunch time and numerous tests in a single day. It's exhausting, and very, very frustrating. Where does my tuition go?
Everyone was very welcoming the second I walked in the door. The atmosphere was clean and organized. The classes are very hands-on and small for more one-on-one with the instructors. I would recommend YTI to anyone wanting to higher their education.
Academics are the best thing about this school. Campus like and being able to choose your class times would definitely be a good change to make.
