Youngstown State University Reviews
Review Youngstown State University
I practically live in Bliss Hall at Youngstown State University! All of the people have made my journey through music an unforgettable one, especially when the YSU wind ensemble got to travel to Carnegie Hall in New York! It is every musician's dream to perform there, and I never thought I would be doing this as a college freshman! I am in so many musical groups, and it's important to have these opportunities as a music performance major. All of my professors (even my gen ed ones) are extremely supportive, and there are so many places to study, relax, and socialize.
From Freshman year to now, there has been a lot of things that have transpired that has changes my perception on the "college life." Majority of my experiences were good, but of course growing into adult life, you have to learn to balance everything entering college. Youngstown State University hasn't really presented me with much diversity or at least the comfortably to feel apart especially because i am a minority. Overall, it has been an interesting experience both good and bad, the cost of the school is fair, but the area is not the best. There is a lot that needs to be implemented to advance this university.
As of now, I am a member in training for a fraternity at my college, but I can't wait until I'm officially accepted. Greek students are very well-respected because they do many things for the campus and are intelligent, hard-working, and kind. There is absolutely no hazing, and the housing is beautiful!
