I absolutely loved the family oriented environment York College gave during my time there. As a transfer student-athlete, my focus was primarily on my athletics, however, I truly wish I was open to expanding my horizons while I was there. It is a Christ-centered college and at the time I didn’t appreciate it as much as I do now. My professors cared about not just our academics, but our overall well-being. It is truly an amazing and special place to experience college, athletics and ultimately to pursue learning about God!
I love how York College is small enough that it allows me to get the one on one assistance I need to really understand my college corses. I also love that the teachers really care about you. If a teacher notices I am having a particular rough time on an assignment, they are always willing to assist me. The sports teams are amazing as well. I enjoy getting to play sports while attending school. This college is like a family away from home. I am learning so much and I really enjoy the postivive environment.
I took a few graduation requirements online during the summer while I was at York and it was great! There were generally a handful of students, making the discussions intimate and full of knowledge.
