Woodbury University is a great private university. I am majoring in Fashion Design and the professors are extremely professional and I have a great time working with them. They thoroughly explain everything and have a great attitude towards every student. They make the students feel comfortable with them asking them questions and the professors clearly answer them all. I have not felt that I am not going to be able to understand something because my professors take the time to explain everything!
As long as you are confident and have previous experience in your major, you will be satisfied with this college. You need the initial experience to keep along with the teachers. If not, you need to provide more effort towards academics. Courses are diverse and mainly stick towards digital aspects. Most professors are very friendly and help you through emails and direct questions. However, some professors may try to avoid as well. Again, it depends on how serious you take your work. You need to constantly ask teachers incase you have a question. Do not expect them to get to you immediately as well. Class styles and class sizes are moderate, you need to find a class where you can do independent study and work on your projects. Find a class that suits you. As an animation major, I prefer to have my own position to do my work and it works that way.
Woodbury University exerts potential in academic programs but does not have any extra curricular activities to offer. Although the lab equipment and the majors are well organised and set up, most of the work you take up during a semester depends on your ability to develop skills based on a professor's introduction to a software or any topic. You will perform well in this college only if you are willing to learn more by yourself and get involved in various programs/independent studies.
