Windham Memorial Hospital - Radiologic Technology Program Reviews
Radiology School – We have clinical (real world application) three days a week for nine hours and class time two days a week for six hours. I couldn't ask for more knowledgeable or dedicated instructors! The curriculum is based on the human anatomy, positioning, physics, patient skills and everything else you need to know to be more than a successful x-ray tech. It is necessary to do A LOT of studying and that is typically the main homework. There are tests every week and it is necessary to have a certain number of practices and competencies done each semester in clinical.
All Dog Lovers!!! There are five women and two men; all white. Some are working part-time to make ends meet, whereas the rest of us are focusing on just school. One is married and the rest are all single with significant others. The ages range from 22-42. We are like a close-knit family; we study together and get together on the weekends for fun.
With this career choice, it would be ineffective to take online courses. This is a very hands-on type of curriculum where it is necessary to have experienced instructors guiding you along.
