William Jessup is a school that values community. Everything that they do is to foster a strong community of support, friendship, and love on their campus and that makes being there desirable! The professors are some of your best wisdom, friends, and are always fighting for your success. Each student is willing to step up and help you through prayer, support, and education.
William Jessup is a great Christian community as they advertise! They cafe is not as great as advertised. One thing that is upsetting as a student is being told it will cost one amount, but then they raise tuition by $1,500 dollars for each semester the next year. If you are going for a psychology, Bible and Theology, or Business degree attend this school! Other degrees such as the sciences I would not recommend. The reason I recommend the specific degrees is the faculty. Outside of the recommended degrees it is more common to find faculty less helpful and somewhat demeaning people. There are some great faculty in those other departments though. I don’t agree with the forced chapel attendance, forced Bible minor (for new and some transfers), or “Spiritual Life Credits” as it makes Christianity seem like a requirement to attend even though they state to want to reach non-Christians. Overall the school is fantastic, just be sure to do your research and ask around within your major.
Jessup is amazing! So many friendly people, it's really hard to not have a few friends after a semester or two. The food at the cafeteria is really amazing, it's been voted the best restaurant in the area.
