WTI is now called Wichita state Technical school. I attend the carpentry program and so far i love the school. They take good care of their students and have a Great line up of instructors who are very knowledgeable! The campus is located right in the middle of the city so its easily accessible. The counselors and advisers are very helpful as well. If a student needs anything they will do their absolute best to get it done for that student!
The Wichita Technical Institute is a college that you could begin taking classes at age 16. They have a variety of classes for a cheap price, compared to how much most colleges charge per credit hour. If you start taking college credit classes, you can probably graduate high school with about 30 or more credit hours. Some classes are worth 75 dollars per credit hour. Each class can go up 6 credit hours. There is a couple classes that are free that you can take while you are in high school, its important to take advantage of taking some classes before you graduate.
