This is my latest attempt at getting my Bachelor's degree. All the classes in this program are online - as many are these days. But online classes are different than they used to be and this program has an accelerated schedule - I am loving it all so far. The teachers are tough, but not too tough and the pace is amazing! Not for the faint of heart, however. Bravo WNC for coming up with a schedule for busy, working adults that is designed to get us through quickly!
For my two years at Western Nevada College, the staff And teachers showed nothing but support. I did one year as a jumpstart student, and my last year as a regular student, and I thought I would’ve been forgotten; but that wasn’t the case. Never had a a hassle signings up for classes thanks to their counselors. The only thing that I would have to dock as a bad experience was a history professor in my jumpstart year. He was very strict in a manner that my high school saw unfair to the students such as myself. WNC acted accordingly with my high school and helped solve the problem between the students and professors which was really nice.
So far so good! I have taken online classes through WNC before. Some were good experiences and some not so good. This schedule so far is amazing. You do not really have time to catch your breath between session, but getting your degree quicker is a much better way to do it.
