I would definitely choose WKU again, even in hindsight. The leadership at WKU is very good at making their students feel welcomed, cared for, and even supported in many different ways. There is a big push for "commitment to commencement" at WKU...which indicates the passion and care that the teachers and administration are demonstrating.
I have been involved with the local Baptist Campus Ministry, and it's been a great opportunity for me. From serving in little ways to leading worship for the main event, I've always had a home at the BCM at WKU.
I'm planning to study abroad next Winter, and because WKU is very focused on global learning, I have many opportunities to win scholarships and talk to previous study-abroad students. I've realized that NOT studying abroad tends to be the biggest regret of most college students. If I receive this scholarship, the money will go toward my study abroad to Australia, where I hope to study Economics!
