First and foremost, this institution ensures that students have all the resources and support necessary to excel throughout coursework. Next, I like that you have to REALLY know the material. Cheating and skating by is virtually impossible. WGU graduates know their (soon-to-be our) stuff. Professors are always so easily accessible and are so passionate about whatever subjects they are teaching. Like they do this for real! Lastly, I haven't had a single bad experience with school staff, even when things were horrible. It was clear that supporting me through my academic experience was the top priority for every individual with whom I interacted or communicated. I HIGHLY recommend this institution for anyone considering colleges.
I really enjoyed the online classes, having the ability to work independently, while staying connected to your classmates. For example, you respond to each others posts in regards to the homework assignments; but you work at your own pace to learn and understand the coursework.
Also I appreciate the care and concern of the counselors with scheduling; offering their knowledge and expertise to help you maneuver successfully from level to level.
Another important factor is the financing! You have the ability to take courses for a set amount, as opposed to paying per credit hour. This grants you the privilege of learning without the worry of a heavy debt to pay back after graduation.
I really enjoyed the classes I have taken and look forward to going back. I had a hiatus; due to life, illness, acts of nature -- but I am ready to return to the world of learning, so I can get my life moving forward again.

WGU was recommended to me by my employer and after checking it out, decided to enroll. Only 18 CU's were transferred and I completed my BS Business Management in only 22 months. I enjoyed the program so much that I decided to continue for my MBA, which I finished in 5 months. This program is AMAZING. If you know the material, no need to waste your time and energy going through the motions---you can prove competency and test out of it! This private university is not for profit. The tuition is beyond reasonable, no hidden fees, and you can complete as many course as possible during your 6-month term bringing the cost of your education down even more. Taking into account my employer's tuition reimbursement and two scholarships (one per program), my out of pocket cost was less then $13,000 for BOTH degrees combined. Graduated with no debt and received a big promotion. I could not be happier with my decision to attend this fully accredited university!
