Currently in the second year and third semester of my MLT program. Definitely rigorous classes and a lot of hard work but for the most part it has paid off tremendously. I really enjoy this career and I’m happy to have great instructors. They have made many adjustments for the students if we struggle and make the effort to help. Exams, for the most part, are fair but still challenging. For those interested in this program, I recommend taking the afternoon labs for more one-on-one help from the instructors. Just know a lot of work is needed to succeed. Finals week is coming up and our last/next semester is our MLT clinicals! Please take a look at and consider Medical Laboratory Science if you’re interested at all!
I love love love this school! It's so great I completed my plumbing degree and came back for an associates of applied science in business and technology! They truly care about each and every student, and go beyond the extra mile to see you succeed.
Western Dakota Tech is the most amazing school, they work really hard on making sure you have everything you need to succeed in school and to graduate. The professors are all amazing even if your not in their program, and everyone is so welcoming. They also have many opportunities to make the cost of going to school more affordable, with many scholarship options, work opportunities, and just overall benefits that fit your needs.
