The Fontana MOA program is very interesting. You learn a lot in such a small amount of time. The curriculum is great but out me teacher uses others materials and doesn't check over them before she hands them out. The assignments and tests are not checked over before we receive them either so that's kind of frustrating. Our career services rep is not the best but she does get us placed at paid externship facilities. She's only great for doing that, I suggest not letting her check over your resume too much because some of the suggestions are unreasonable. You should go see her a month before you graduate to make sure she knows who you are. The work field for MOA is growing and definitely has more job opportunities than people to fill it.
Review Westech College
I've learned so much 5 months and made friendships that will last a lifetime. Although this course is short you will feel as if you've been there for so much longer. You learn a lot and retain more than you'll think. Some of the instructors are okay, and some are just amazing. For the Fontana MOA class, our instructor was a bit knowledgeable but she didn't know some of the basic things she should know. She gives you assignments that she doesn't look over before she passed them out, so when you need help, she can barely help you. She uses a lot of recycled assignments or tests so she doesn't know what's on them before she hands them out. Still with that being said, you're able to learn a lot through the books and peers. She's not the best but she's not the worst. The front office staff at Fontana (Courtney) is so amazing, if you ask her for something she gets right on it, she's friendly and nice. Dale is amazing as well, really friendly and makes the sign up process easy and understandable. Mrs. Mary Zad is an amazing person but she has a bit of a mean streak when things don't go as she wants them too. Overall I don't take the experience back, and I would do it again and recommend anyone to take this course.
Maybe some people MUST to be there to get money from the county but the people that are there because they WANT to work are really the inspiration. If you WANT that job bad enough, you are gonna get it! Jobs aren't free or easy to come by. You've got to work getting 'um.
