West Virginia Wesleyan College Reviews
Rating 3.62 out of 5 486 reviews
This is an institution that I would highly recommend to everyone! The campus itself is beautiful and smaller than others, allowing for easy navigation. The campus life is also great. Campus life schedules activities for students throughout the school year for all students. Our academics are the perfect balance of fun, engaging, and intelectually challenging. The professors are always available via email, and then if you need additional help you can ask for an appointment and they will meet with you one on one to help you individually.
West Virginia Wesleyan College was the perfect fit for me as a low-income student from a suburban/urban town in NJ. Its affordable tuition and financial aid packages allowed me to attend a top-notch liberal arts college without going into debt. The close-knit community provided me with personal attention from professors and staff, which was essential for someone who struggled in larger environments. It also allowed me to form lasting friendships and connections. WV Wesleyan's commitment to experiential learning and community engagement provided me with valuable skills and experiences that helped me stand out to employers after graduation. Overall, WV Wesleyan was an amazing choice that opened doors I never thought possible.
The professors at WVWC care about their job which makes learning so much better. They have a lot of opportunities for students like having a work-study to bring in extra cash. I am a part of their marching band and sometimes it feels like our band director doesn’t want us there. What i would like changed is how campus security handle situations, as well as the food, because they give us raw chicken. I also believe we shouldn’t have to pay extra to live in a building with AC. My overall experience there is great, i get one on one with professors, have opportunities to help with grades, as well as a lot of extra things, like big bingo!! We just got voted one of the safeties schools in America.
