Review West Chester University of Pennsylvania
The dorms are great, but that also depends on which ones you live in. I live in the more expensive ones which include a bathroom inside the room, but I know people who have enjoyed living in both dorm styles. The overall food quality is okay. During peak meal times, the lines can get pretty long and if I have to run to class, I might not have time for a full sit down meal. Einstein's is one of the most popular places to eat on campus, but that makes their line unbearable to wait in sometimes. I enjoy the social life at West Chester as well. There are many things to do, especially is partying isn't your scene (there's plenty of that too). Between events in our student union building, and our vivid social scene, you’ll always find something to do! One of my favorite things to do is workout, and I love the gym for that reason. The gym usually gets pretty crowded from 2:30-6PM so sometimes you have to wait for equipment. Overall, I love West Chester!
Currently, I am a Freshman at West Chester University. I will be starting my second semester come mid January. For me, West Chester has been one of the greatest experiences of my life. I started during the summer for five weeks. The program was called ADP. Thanks to ADP, the transition from high school to college was a breeze! West Chester is like a second family to me. The staff at this school all look to help each of their students succeed regardless of how long it may take by offering hundreds of majors with friendly professors that care about your future.
West Chester University of Pennsylvania has many attractive features. The diversity of the town as well as the diversity of the school allow for individuals of various backgrounds to find a place. There are a variety of majors and minors at West Chester that made it a good choice for me. The school is a perfect size. It is not too big or too small, so you are primarily involved in smaller classes. The class sizes allow for you to form valuable relationships with your professors. The school has an abundance of clubs that satisfy an abundance of interests. Additionally, the school has a great recreational center with both a traditional gym and also fitness classes and a rock wall. I would like some more variety for vegetarian foods on campus, as well as more school spirit in regards to various sporting events. There is not a ton of options for vegetarians or vegans, and I think that school spirit is sometimes lacking. Overall, the positive aspects of West Chester outweigh any qualms.
