The learning atmosphere at Weber State University is lively and interesting. The academics provide a superior education because they are renowned for having devoted and experienced lecturers. The campus is hopping with intriguing activities, initiatives, and student organizations where you may explore new hobbies and meet others who share your interests. The university's dedication to establishing a feeling of community and empowering students to have a positive effect is admirable. Even though Weber State has numerous advantages, increasing diversity and inclusion would improve the environment. Take advantage of the chances, interact with peers, and add to the conversation around inclusion. Have fun while you're a student at Weber State!
My experience at Weber State University has been amazing! The professors and the staff there are kind and compassionate; they always prioritize your well-being during your time in college. The classes are quite interesting, and the professors always motivate you to improve yourself. Additionally, the campus is beautiful, and during breaks or free periods in your schedule, you can enjoy the view or simply hang out with friends. The student community is also very supportive and willing to help and guide you if needed. I appreciate the fact that this university has people from all over the world, showcasing the diversity and acceptance present within the institution. It's a place where you can feel safe and not be judged for who you are. I wouldn't hesitate for a second to apply to Weber.
One thing that needs to change about Weber State is the prep for early college students! There was no transition or help after High School and they don't attempt to recruit or provide a place for everyone. An Advisor appointment needs to be in place for all graduating high school seniors. It is assumed that because they have taken concurrent enrollment classes there is no transition needed, while truthfully it is terrifying to step foot on a campus you've never been to. You can go invisible at this school, for better or for worse. If you attend Davis campus you're taking your generals with high school students. Their website is impossible to navigate and the steps for financial aid can be pretty confusing. At the davis campus you have to pay for a parking ticket even though the parking lot is never full. At Weber it is the opposite, you are not guaranteed a parking spot even with a parking pass.
