FUTURE COUGS READ THIS! I did 1 year of Greek and 2 years of not. I've gotten involved in clubs that both had to do with my major and didn't have to do with my major. I done virtually all intramurals on campus. I've watched almost every D1 sport we have to offer at least once. I've gone to the concerts and shows put on by the university. I've tried all the local favorites and have seen the bars. I've taken advantage of the local geography and gone camping, cliff jumping, rafting, hiking, etc. I've toured Spokane and Moscow. I have made best friends for life, while continuously meeting new friends each semester. I've worked hard on my assignments and become friends with my professors. I've done all of these in my three years at WSU and I know I'm not done entering my final year. Wazzu is what you make of it. The one star reviews consist of those who dared not to leave their dorm room or never gained the courage to meet others. Take those reviews with a grain of salt.
Review Washington State University
Washington State University is an something that I can only wish every person could experience. The community is very welcoming and there are also new people to meet and befriend. We are constantly given opportunities to succeed in academics and in extra curricular endeavors. The social environment is great, because a majority of the students stay here every weekend as opposed to going home like our "friends" at the University of Washington. Our friendships grow stronger and we are able to establish the life-long friendships that we all dream about as we enter adulthood. Like I said, I only can wish that every could experience what it is like to be a part of this school. Go Cougs!
I am an Apparel Merchandising Design and Textiles major at WSU, currently in my second semester with Sophomore standing. I transferred here with my AA that I earned through Running Start in high school. So far I really enjoy WSU pullman, the atmosphere is generally nice, sporting events are fun. I personally don't attend parties, and would rather hang out with my friends and S/O. My professors have a lot to share with us and I've learned a lot that I might not have been able to on my own. There's lots of clubs and chances to meet new people who are different from you, overall I'm glad I decided to attend and I'm very happy here!
