WSU Vancouver is a nice little college. It's a smaller campus with smaller class sizes which gives an easier opportunity to communicate with faculty and staff. It's a completely different atmosphere to WSU Pullman. WSU Vancouver isn't perfect, I know a little more about the issues for the students at this campus because of my position in student government. There is little to no food on campus, there are limited options in classes, and in turn limitations in degrees. It cost a lot to take summer and winter courses and it wasn't till 2022 they offered a payment plan option making tuition very difficult for those who don't have full coverage funding. Students who take public transportation have to take bus routes from certain areas 2hrs or over which is equivalent to transportation to PSU across state lines. While not perfect I've heard a lot worse from friends that go to other schools and there are a number of faculty that really encourage student activities and progress.
Washington State University has amazing professors, always willing to help with questions. Also, it has an incredibly beautiful campus! There is an incredible view of the mountains and lots of student activities.
The only issue I had with this campus was that there wasn't many resources for the students who were long distance commuters or had trouble reaching classes. Having an online program at the university level could be helpful, especially for CS which is what I was majoring in. Another thing is that as a research university, it seems like sometimes the professors were more interested in their own research than teaching which made studying harder.
