Walters State Community College Reviews
Walters State (specifically the Morristown campus) is an exceptional school. The class sizes are very reasonable (15-30 depending), the teachers are outstanding, and the campus is really beautiful. The greatest assets of the school are the numerous resources available to allow and ensure the success of the pupil. There is a gigantic library with two large computer labs, dozens of unique study spaces, and a friendly staff ready and willing to assist. There is a math lab that is always open to help out students in need. The proctor, Beth Dixon, is a priceless gem of a woman. She is so sweet, so smart, and SO helpful. I could go on and on about this school. If you haven't already checked it out, do yourself a favor and schedule a tour. you're going to love it!
While attending Walters State, I found the staff to be wonderful and helpful to meet the needs of their students. The campus was well kept and their was always activities for the students to attend. In addition, Walters State has several diffrent areas where students can get together and study in a peaceful environment, as well as studying alone. I really enjoyed my two years at Walters State Community College!
Walters State has been amazing to attend, especially being so close to my home. The instructors are wonderful and really know what they’re talking about. It is a very budget friendly option for students and is significantly cheaper than all the surrounding university. Students also have serval opportunities for scholarships and work study. The campus can also help students find jobs near them if they are struggling. There are several resources available for students, such as math labs, writing labs, and tutors in every subject. Faculty around the campus are super friendly and helpful, especially the library and lab staff. The campus cafe is very good as well, which means that students don’t have to venture off campus to get food.
