Walla Walla Community College Reviews
Review Walla Walla Community College
A great school. Within weeks I was connected to many areas of the student body, from high schoolers to 40 year olds... My advisor has gone above and beyond in assisting me in what I want to do. The staff is great, helped me create a resume and even get a few interviews, eventually a job. I see friends and teachers in town all the time and they always chat me up. Very beautiful town, open-minded school, and easy to get plugged in. I am a part of a few clubs! My first year was a success.
At Walla Walla Community College, the career services are incredible! The TRiO Program is a great program that helps students find their career path or paths and then again to help them narrow it down to one degree. They help then with choosing the correct classes to take to complete your chosen degree. TRiO gives you so many options and has so many resources to help find your degree choice, a job, a future college, they offer tutors and have areas to work on homework in quiet. We also have the career center which helps you dig deeper in your options to find which one best fits your work interests. The campus has high quality resources for all its students and makes every students time enjoyable and as stress less as possible and treats every student like someone important because our futures are very important to WWCC.
Community colleges are places for people of actual diversity and difficult backgrounds to gain a start toward a real, reliable education and hands-on training that gives you real world job experience. The teachers here are dedicated, even the ones I didn't agree with, and many if not all were willing to spend time out of class helping students learn and commit. They provide a safe campus that genuinely feels approachable and easy-going, and accommodations were made for every request I had. There is a real sense of care and patience here, and it's changed my opinion of education in general for the better.
