Gave "one of US' best" CCs a shot as a non-traditional, world-travelled, marginalized STEM student. I came in with high expectations, but was quickly disappointed.

Program-specific materials were okay, but most of the classroom environments felt like learning within a vacuum. I felt that my perspective and voice were not supported. From day one I had to advise myself, and most instructors seemed very overburdened with work (a few even directly shared this with their students.)

In order to stay relevant, responsibile and encourage potential staff and students to come to such a rural area this school could start with a modern website update and intensive Diversity & Inclusion staff training.

While WWCC does have a few really talented STEM instructors, a great tutoring program, and a nice creek side walking trail bordering campus - I'm already looking to pursue another degree at a much more open-minded institution where I hope to feel respected and comfortable.

Great school and 100% worth the money! The staff is awesome and great to work with, both during and outside of class. Also there is a lot of other resources for helping with class work on campus as well. This school has a passion for agricultural and workforce programs. I have taken the CDL program, which is in the workforce programs, and the staff was amazing with working with me throughout the course. Walla Walla Community College is recognized nationwide, and I can say that I would recommend anyone to go to school here.
I attended WWCC in 2013 and ended up dropping out, I got suspended from Financial Aid. It was a hard time in my life. Two children later I found myself at a cross-road in life and decided to try to apply to go to WWCC again and finish what I started. After appealing my Financial Aid I was accepted and have now been back in college for the last 6 months and have a 3.95 GPA. Walla Walla Community College is a great place to go to school, I am taking all of my classes online and had a lot of different degree options to choose from. I have been on Campus to use the library and had one class on campus last year. The staff and students are all very friendly, encouraging and kind. If there was one thing that I would suggest be changed it would be the administration working to make the credits received at Walla Walla Community College transferable to other universities, from what I have encountered most credits do not transfer.
