Needs a little better infrastructure. Time clock shows the wrong time. Clocks in classrooms need batteries. Otherwise a good institution. Great instructors.

My experience at Virginia College was nice. The financial office worked well with me. But the cosmetology department is unorganized. If they were more organized I would of been more than happy to have attended. Also how the financial aid goes about is difficult. This is what turned me away from Virginia College.
We need to have a center for newborns, space for toddlers and a department for first- fifth graders to be read to and challenged. Where the students here, can leave their children and go on to school without worries about who will take care of their children. When they are participating in organizational fundraisers for their chosen profession not have to be late saying that " I could not find a baby-sitter for my child or children or niece." That way, they can give their full focus on what they are here for which is to get a education This would be a full -service place the children would be read to, played with, changed, challenged , fed with and put to sleep.

We need more assistance in our Student Service area. One person can not do it all. Send assistants some part-time and full-time. Offer $20-50 gift cards for gas, eating, or any other service.
