Valencia College Reviews
Personally, I am a part of the Seneff Honors Program, and could not love it more! The opportunities are endless at Valencia College, and all the staff are so kind and helpful. There are a lot of students who think poorly of community colleges, or specifically non 4-year degree schools, but I love it at Valencia. I enjoy the fact there aren't hundreds of thousands of students on campus (or online). Their student government really makes the effort to make others feel welcome, and I think they pride themselves on the countless events they plan, especially since the recent change of scenery we have had with online learning.
I grew up doing fully-online courses in high school, and doing them through Valencia was something I feared would be difficult. However, they made it very easy! Canvas and Atlas are the resources used, and both platforms are easy to follow and navigate. Teachers typically follow up within 48 hours, and offer contact through email or zoom. Especially during unsure times of COVID, Valencia’s staff has strived to do their best to ensure that we succeed well online.
I believe Valencia College is the best college! This state college is very urban and has a huge open campus. Our campus is filled with many different resources, such as the College and Career Center and Valencia Foundation. In fact, we also have a Math Lab for tutoring and a Student Services Building for guidance. I believe this college provides students with the tools for success! The professors pushes students to excel and professional colleagues are always available to guide students to have a successful educational journey. Although student housing isn't available on west campus, there are plenty of events that takes place throughout the week. For Instance, FREE FOOD! Everyone loves the sound of that! These events also encourages students to network and get involved with certain clubs and organizations. If your thinking about excelling greatly, please enroll into Valencia College!
